MDAI

Research chemical

A selective serotonin releasing agent which is rarely used without a stimulant to obtain desirable effects. Previously believed not to be neuruotoxic, however MDAI has been implicated in several lethal and non-lethal intoxications, and as such may pose more of a risk to health than previously believed.

Harm reduction

  • This entry comes from the extended library: it is a less-studied substance with fewer independent sources.
  • Unknown potency is the main risk with novel substances — start with a fraction of any published figure and never re-dose before the full onset has passed.
  • Test with reagents and, where possible, a lab service. Fentanyl and nitazene contamination is not detectable by eye or by reagent alone.
  • Avoid using alone, and do not combine with other drugs while you are learning how a new substance affects you.
