5-APB
Research chemical
A triple monoamine reuptake inhibitor. This agonism for 5-HT2B makes it likely that 5-APB would be cardiotoxic with long term use, as seen in other 5-HT2B agonists such as fenfluramine and MDMA.

Harm reduction
- This entry comes from the extended library: it is a less-studied substance with fewer independent sources.
- Unknown potency is the main risk with novel substances — start with a fraction of any published figure and never re-dose before the full onset has passed.
- Test with reagents and, where possible, a lab service. Fentanyl and nitazene contamination is not detectable by eye or by reagent alone.
- Avoid using alone, and do not combine with other drugs while you are learning how a new substance affects you.
